For the Foster Family

Foster Family Genealogy

Foster Family Genealogy

Process

When Mark explained what he wanted, I immediately started sketching the layout. I focused on making sure the older family members could access the site and navigate through it easily. While sketching out the layout, I kept usuability and accessibility in mind.

After sketching, I created a mockup in Photoshop. I decided to use the family crest's colors as the color scheme and a textured background to give the website a nice touch.

Then, I started coding and Mark provided the content to put on the website. I made sure the code was W3C compliant and valid, and the content was organized properly. I also made sure that the website would work in older browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6.

Lastly, I instructed him on how to update his website and offered free support whenever he needed it.

Testimonial

"When I first approached Nicole to design a web site for the history of the Foster Family I had no idea of where to start. Nicole did a great job of guiding me through the process. Her choice in color schemes exceeded my expectations and the project was done in a very timely manner. My family now has a beautiful website with all the history of the family for all to enjoy. Nicole has proven to be a very talented designer of web sites and I would refer her without hesitation."
